I'm a creative director, photographer & storyteller collaborating with talented humans at the intersection of brand marketing, content & community. Currently I'm doing all those things at [ FLORENCE ] and via my studio [ LAYERS CREATIVE ].

Before that, i spent four years as executive Creative Director at a digital media group leading creative teams across a branded content studio, six media brands, two e-commerce brands and a 50+ person creator program.

Before that, i spent four years at an advertising agency directing commercial productions for a wide range of clients.

before that, i spent six years on the editorial staff making magazines, surf films and branded content at an iconic surf publication.

before that, i was a kid whose family went bankrupt in 2008 and we lost our family home. i used my passion for photography to hustle, network and keep a roof over my head. along with being a busboy at the local steakhouse.

the source of inspiration for my work comes from my life experience and ever evolving passions for surfing, filmmaking, 35mm photography, raising two boys with my beautiful and talented wife, coffee, the ocean, being outdoors and using my imagination.
